Tweedy & Fluff was created by Corrinne Averiss

Corrinne has worked as a Writer and Producer/Director in children’s television for over thirteen years at Ragdoll, CiTV, CBeebies, Cosgrove Hall and Factory.  She created the three-times BAFTA-winning Share a Story competition for CiTV and co-devised 52 x 11’ preschool series Pip Ahoy for Channel 5’s Milkshake; writing for the series. Corrinne is also a children’s author, her first three picture books will be published by Egmont and Oxford University Press in 2016/17 - she is represented by Caroline Sheldon Literary Agency. Through her Manchester-based company, Stitchy Feet, she writes and develops children’s content and offers development consultancy.

Tweedy & Fluff’s conception was undoubtedly influenced by the constant presence of Corrinne’s cat, Alba and their daily negotiations on space, food and playtime…

Tweedy & Fluff was developed for stop-motion by Chris Randall at Second Home Studios

Chris is a Director/Producer of animation, specialising in stop-motion. His company, Second Home Studios has been resident in Birmingham for over ten years and has earned a reputation for creative innovation. Chris has significant experience managing large scale, technically-challenging projects. The Mechanical Musical Marvel was nominated for Best Animation at the Children’s BAFTA awards in 2011.  His unique paper animation for Pilsner Urquell Legends won a British Animation Award, a Gold Panda in China and competed at Annecy and the Royal Television Society Awards in 2013.  Chris is represented by renowned London agency, Picasso Pictures, for commercial projects.
